Your data should never fly the coop, and we’ve taken two important steps to make sure it never does.

Tinybird is SOC 2 Type I compliant!

We are very, very excited to announce that Tinybird is now SOC 2 Type I compliant. This is a huge step forward for us in our mission to help developers build secure API endpoints on top of massive volumes of analytical data.

We’ve enabled Enterprise Authentication!

Our larger customers want to be able to authenticate to Tinybird using Single Sign On (SSO) protocols such as SAML or LDAP so they can control access to Tinybird using their existing authentication systems.

This is the main reason that we’ve started using Auth0 for Tinybird authentication. Although we already offered SSO authentication through social platforms, including Google, GitHub, and Microsoft, the move to Auth0 enables much more for us, including:

  • A fully secured and trusted authentication provider
  • Universal login across all Tinybird products
  • Easy-to-configured SAML and LDAP enterprise connections
  • Painless authentication

We’ve already moved everything to Auth0 under the hood, but the authentication look and feel in the Tinybird UI and CLI hasn’t changed, so you can continue to use Tinybird exactly how you were already.

If you have any questions about our security policies or authentication, ping us on Slack.
